What about First Steps?
Jessica Z. replied:
He can still qualify for first steps- there just has to be significant delay! 1 st steps isn't just for Autism- it's for delays prior to age 3. Call and have an eval done to se if he qualifies.

All 3 of our kids see Deb Wylie. She does first steps and also sees kids independently who have aged out. Looooove her.

Not a recommendation but my son babbled incoherently until 2.5. Then his words just took off. He has a few pronunciation issues but other than that he's quite easy to understand. Our dr didn't even seem concerned...my brothers kids all went thru first steps and we saw great improvement.
