  I agree with Donna O'Riordan la Cala is a lovely village with all amenities and no need for a car as they is a regular bus service in both directions. And a local market held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There are 2 super markets. "mercadona" for your usual goods and another called "supersol" where they sell some English products. I have lived in la Cala for 6 years and I love it. (No riff raff walking about) I feel safe walking at night etc. If you are looking for accommodation.. I would recommend David Phillips at a local estate agents based in la Cala itself. www.starlacala.com Hope this helps. X
