Where to start... costume changes, sweat, ill-fitting shoes, humour and BEST OF ALL the enthusiastic renditions of everyone's favourite TV theme tunes. Emerging from the wings in their finest breakfast attire, and soon changing into more/less appropriate suits as the gig went into full swing, we were treated to cover versions of The A-Team, Blockbusters, Dallas and many, many more. Ski Sunday was a particular favourite of mine. But how exciting can 30 second long tunes be? VERY EXCITING. I've seen many full-length sets of enthusiastic, testosterone-fuelled boybands and I can tell you that there was a lot more sweat and passion involved in the bunker that is The Buffalo Bar on Wednesday night than any concert at the O2. When mistakes are made - and they are - they're shook off, made fun of and the band carry on with great aplomb. Even the tragedy of a broken guitar string mid-set couldn't stop the band giving us a great performance. I left the dancefloor a quivering wreck and a hot, sticky mess after bopping along to the tunes that soundtracked much of my childhood. Would I go again? OH YES. Am I sad that I'm not going to Bestival just so I can see them again? OH YES. Special mention has to go to Joanne Joanne for warming up the crowd with their fantastic covers of Duran Duran's greatest hits. I'll be sure to check them out when they're the headline act. - Katy Moon
