    My husband was biking to work yesterday and was hit by a car. Driver was trying to speed up and turn, before he reached the intersection, but didn't anticipate that she couldn't make it. Now she (or, her insurance company, rather) is claiming it was my husband's fault. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer for this, just IN CASE we need one? TIA!!

    Absolutely hire a lawyer. Insurance companies will give you the run around if you do not have a expert advocating on your behalf. I highly recommend (and have used) Altman and Altman in Cambridge. I was hit by a car while on a bike a few years ago and they were instrumental in helping me navigate the insurance debacle.
