A little about me...
Aside from photography the things I enjoy the most are sport and exercise. I’m definitely a people person and I like nothing more than being out and about with my family and friends. I enjoy travelling and learning about the different cultures of the world, and I especially like sampling all of the different cuisines… I love my food! I also love my cups of tea – white, no sugar please.
My photography
I’ve always been interested in photography since I was a young boy growing up in Glasgow, and at the age of 17 I finally got my first ‘real’ camera as a birthday present from my Mum. Since then I’ve carried a camera with me pretty much all the time and my wife has grown accustomed to me walking two paces behind her everywhere we go, taking photos! In 2007 I decided to embark on my professional career. My favourite kind of photography is anything to do with people; in particular weddings, families and children. I love to interact with people who are laughing and having a good time – these are the most natural and genuine times, and my favourite kind of shots. If you’re shy and don’t like having your picture taken, I’ll do my best to get a smile out of you! Also, I’m always trying to develop new skills and ideas through courses and seminars.
My philosophy
Friendly, creative and professional. I like to keep my photography relaxed, and I like to make my clients feel relaxed. I involve my clients throughout all stages of the process, and welcome their ideas and feedback so I can achieve the best possible results for them. I understand that every client’s requirements are different, and I like to tailor my photography to suit each individual. For me, the best possible advertising is word of mouth and each customer is as important to me as my first. My aim is not only to meet your expectations but exceed them.
