  Local friends, we're looking for a good pediatric ophthalmologist in the area, who takes Blue Cross / Blue Shield insurance. Any recommendations? (Kavi has a bit of astigmatism.) Also, Kevin and I both could use an eye exam and probably bifocals. Sigh. Any general ophthalmologist recommendations around here, ditto insurance?

  When I lived in Oak Park I went to Kirk's Eye center - http://www.kirkeye.com/ (in River Forest) they are Ophthalmologists - 2 nd generation ones at that
