  [Bhambi's](https://www.bhambis.com/) in midtown created a wonderful tux for me last year. I worked directly with Harry, son of the founder, and can say it was easily the best bespoke clothing experience I've had. That said, "affordable" means different things to different people, so YMMV.

  http://www.bhambis.com midtown west...This place is $$$$ but they are beyond amazing. If you want it done- they can do it. They advertise men's custom suits but will do woman's custom alterations. I had a dress altered to perfection there.
