About us
Our centre practice is characterised by mutual trust, respect, honesty and open communication between parents and service providers. Families are active participants in the development of policy, program design, and evaluation. We respect the unique place of Mãori as Tangata whenua, and our obligations in honouring both parties to Te tiriti o Waitangi.
We share parent’s aspirations for their children to enjoy an early childhood education experience that reflects the community in which they are raised and we warmly welcome children, parents and caregivers into our centre.
Our children and Whänau will belong to an engaging, calm and purposeful community guided by teachers who are passionate and nurturing.
Children lead their own learning, making choices and following their interests. They engage in simulating activities that provide opportunities for sustained creative play. Children work collaboratively and delight in the fun their collective play generates.

Out B. asked:Can you please post for me: I am looking for a childcare center in hastings for my children and wanted to know if there were any that had an hourly rate of $5 an hour or if it was only in home childcare that would be that cheap as I'm currently paying $7 per hour and can't afford it any more. We are not entitled to any free hours and only get a small subsidy per hour.
