Vet recommendations for a difficult dog? I am looking for recommendations for a vet that is good with fearful dogs.
Does anyone have a place that they feel comfortable taking their fearful and/or aggressive dog?
My aging heeler is starting to show signs of arthritis or some kind of dysplasia but he is extremely difficult at the vet.
Any tips or recommendations welcome! He needs to be seen but I have no idea how to manage it. He is historically healthy and we just have always managed preventative care and shots at home because he is a bit of a devil.

If you're near Mission and haven't already checked them out, Fairway Animal Hospital may be a good option. They were great with my hated-the-vet dog. Best of luck. http://fairwayanimalhospital.com/
Mr. Jaxon needs a new vet in the OP/PV area. Any recommendations for my sweet angel?

I go to Fairway Animal Hospital but it's also 5 blocks from my house. So it's walking distance which is nice to not have to load/unload. It's probably a bit pricier than most vets I've heard, but I have VPI so I get usually 80% of all maintenance costs reimbursed to care/notice. But the care is really good, they are almost always running on time, and can get in quickly if need be
Vet recommendation for a cat (preferably Midtown)? I adopted my guy Mooney about six months ago and I figure it's about time to go get him checked up on. Plus he has a weird nervous habit of biting his fur/skin on his hindquarters (probably not fleas, applied frontline over a month ago). Can you guys help us out?
Edit: he is around 2.5 years old, Russian Blue, been fixed, if that helps at all

We take our 4 year old Boxer to Dr. Hendershot at [Fairway Animal Hospital](http://www.fairwayanimalhospital.com/). They're at 60 th and Mission road in Fairway. They've always been really great with our dog. It's really convenient for us, but some say they're a little more expensive than a few other places. We haven't had any major incidents, but the basic visits seem to be fairly priced. If you adopted/rescued, at least with dogs, they give you a discounted first checkup so long as you mention it when you call for an appointment. Not sure if they do it for cats. It's their way of saying "thanks" for adopting/rescuing.
