Sorry if this is a silly question but.... has anyone got any advice on cold water acclimatization in terms of what you do after the swim? I'm finding that I can still happily swim without a wetsuit atm and as long as I keep up a decent pace I don't get too bothered by the cold while I'm swimming. As soon as I get out however I feel completely chilled to the core, shiver uncontrollably and find it very difficult to get warm again. Is it better to do as I am doing (hot shower, hot drinks etc) or would it be better to try to let my body deal with the cold and warm up more gradually by just putting lots of layers on? (I'm hoping to build up to do a cold water swim camp next year so I need to get better with this!)
