What's the best place in Boston to get a cool men's haircut? Hey ya'll, I've been going to the same salon for a few years now but both of the stylists who I liked there have moved so I'm stuck without a place to go. I've tried searching on Yelp and a few other sites but some of them are rated based on things that aren't important to me. Basically I'd like to get a style that's a little "funky" and "cool" (I'm aware of how uncool it was to use those words and also put them in quotes), but not so totally over the top that it would look silly on a 30 year old with a creative but professional job. I want someone who is up on what's trendy but who isn't going to default to a dramatic Macklemore shaved sides thing automatically. I'm past the point where I can pull of experimental looks but I still like bold cuts that complement my overall style. Any ideas? Thanks dudes!

I go to [Trephin](http://www.trephin.com/), Nate cuts my hair and he is amazing and very creative. It's super close to the T, too, which is nice.
This is for Boston peeps: Which barber shop/salon would you recommend? I need trim. Money is not an issue for me, but nothing too expensive, ya know? Thank you!

My place is awesome but it's pricey. BUT everyone has tattoos and is awesome, so I feel really funky being there. Also voted one of the top salons in the country recently. www.trephin.com
