  HELP NEEDED A friend of mine has been taking care of her grandmother with dimentia for about a year. Her family wants to put grandma into a home even though the doctor's have made clear that she'll decline pretty sharply should that happen. It sounds like motivation is money. She's looking for resources to help keep her in her home with home care. Got information that might help? They're in Contra Costa county. She's been getting paid to help with her care, but we're wondering if there are ways to get the state to help with cost. Maybe disability care? Geriatric? I'm not sure. I told her to look into the disability resource center, but any information that could help would be much appreciated.
