  Look around for illustrators. I went to a festival this year that MOCCA put on through the Society for Illustrators. It was in 2 locations with hundreds of illustrators of all ages producing graphics novels. It was amazing, hundreds of artists showing and selling their work. See what they have going on and go to events like that. I went the last day and it was so great I wished I gone earlier. You can chat one on one with the artists, very personable.
