Just got my Lake Worth Utilities bill and water alone was $2000 and over $1000 last month. They replaced the meter in July and my bill is going up exponentially. I fixed a minor leak and then found another minor leak. Then I just got my latest bill for $2000 and she tells me I am using 200 gallons an hour or minute or something. If they told me that before, I would have been looking for a bigger leak. Now there are no leaks I can see, but the Lake Worth Utilities department tells me I need to get a plummer to go find the leak. Even though this happened right after they replaced the meter .. they claim zero responsibility and giving me the run around. If they never came and replaced my meter, things would be fine - but they did .. now I have a big problem. Anyone else having a similar issue?
