Bike shop recommendations, preferably north of the river I used to like mountain biking a lot but have not gone in a long time. I have a nice bike that is older but needs some work. I probably need much of the drivetrain replaced (cranks, bottom bracket and chain, primarily) and new derailleur cables, new chain and a general tune up.
Could anybody recommend a reputable bike shop that would do that kind of work without wanting to just sell me a new bike? I live in Gladstone so I'd prefer something up north, but I'm willing to go anyplace for good service. There was a shop near my house that closed recently, but they were kind elitist road cycling cocksuckers so I never wanted to go there.

A little farther south but I have had good luck with [Midwest Cyclery.](http://www.midwestcyclerykc.com/)
Looking for personal recommendations for a good bike store. If you don't mind, tell me what you like about it.

https://www.facebook.com/43557643142 Volker Bicycles is a great store run by Britton Kusiak. Small shop, honest and dependa https://www.facebook.com/330441973800 ble. I haven't had much history with Midwest Cyclery LLC in Westport, yet the times I have gone in to buy a tube or accessory the customer service has been great. Guess it depends what you are looking for, as some shops specialize in different areas.
