  We're a 501 c3 non-profit over at The Strand, and always appreciate help :). She can email us at friends@earlsmithstrand.org. Any idea what kind of thing they're interested in doing? The Humane Society and the YWCA are also great non-profit organizations.

  The strand seats 64 in each event room if you are looking at the 8 ft rounds. BUT you can comfortably fit about 110-125 standing cocktail with cocktail tables per room. Many people on a budget go with heavy hors d'oeuvres rather than a sit down meal and it seems to be more fun and less stress. During summer, adding the terrace as seating doubles the space.
