  Windows question. I want to replace most of the windows in my home. I don't like the colonial style windows and the former owners had them tinted and the tint is peeling and they just look awful. I was ready to have them all replaced when someone suggested I might be able to get the white lines and tints removed and keep the current otherwise good windows. The issue is supposedly, Arvida built my house with a size that is now considered custom and is hard to get the height, yet any place that supplies them are charging almost $1000 for the door and installation..do I hear rip off?
