  Dr. Jared Pearson at Mountainland Pediatric is wonderful with special needs children!! We have been seeing him for 3 years. He has an anesthesiologist he brings in. They give them a shot in the butt first and when the are sleepy they place the IV. That is the plan..... however my son would not even comply with the shot. So we are going to do the gas at the hospital. We many not have done the IV but the way Dr. Jared and the anesthesiologist (sorry I don't remember his name) work with us with such care and patience was amazing. I want them for my own dentist. We were not will to hold him down and do the shot. Both Doctors were totally okay with our plan and work really hard with our son for an hour. With a special needs son like ours it is all about trust and being honest. We will be going back again and again to Dr. Jared Pearson. Their number is 801-766-2111. They are in Lehi.

  Can anyone please recommend a good local pediatric dentist? We really need to take our son. He has a cavity. Yes I know it's his baby teeth and they will be gone eventually but we want to start him with good teeth caring habits while he is young. Plus a dentist told me you should start taking your kids in when they are 3. My son is 3 1/2 now.
