  Ill be in Sevierville just for a short time later this week around mid day. Any suggestions for good lunch place local to that area. Not a chain restaurant. Also reasonable pricing. Sevierville only please... On a tight time schedule... First week of the year when i was there all the places recommended cost an arm and a leg.

  We are planning to come up Christmas day and stay a couple days. We want contribute to the economy, and find some new places to eat and stay, and grieve the loss of some of our favorite places. I just feel we need some closer. We always stay at Carr's Cottages and eat at Mountain Lodge. We love the campus type feel of Carrs. The privacy, stream and the location. Can anyone make any suggestions of where to stay keep that in mind and also, the area between Gatlinburg and PF I know there are some side streets there but what is the name of that are?. Is there lodging in that area? We love the Roaring Fork area and open to suggestions. Also, where do the locals eat and what restaurants stepped up and helped during this time? Thanks

  Last weekend my friends and I purposely set out to go eat in Gatlinburg at a restaurant that is not a chain and not part of a corporation and we found a new favorite place, the food was fantastic and the people were wonderful.
