  Most attorneys, including the one I work for, Melissa Hise, offer free consultations. However, there is a fee for representation if you so choose. Georgia Legal Services is the legal aid for our area and is in Dalton. It is based on your income. https://www.glsp.org/

  Georgia Legal Services Providers (glsp.org) provides free help with IEP's for low-income families. And threy might be able to provide a referral if your income is too great to qualify for their services

  If you live in Georgia http://www.glsp.org/ in Alabama http://www.legalservicesalabama.org/ at least you can check to see what your rights are. Because, if you haven't been paid in 10 weeks, I am sure there are not going to be a lot of funds to start the process. Good luck to you.
