Gordon Baxter Wedding Photography
Many years ago my first camera was a fantastic German make - Zenith. Since then, I spent every free minute “wasting” all the precious photo film. As technology progressed, I owned a few compact cameras and a smart phone :) Let’s face it, we all take pictures these days. But does this make us all photographers? Sure! Why not? But only few of us are really passionate about taking photos. I know I am.
Pursuing my passion I recently decided that I would like to make it more official and bought my first DSLR camera. I must admit, it felt like I was holding my Zenith for the first time! At first I took pictures of everything and everyone! No joke, like an amateur with his first camera... After shooting a few weddings for my friends I noticed, how many things I was able to photograph on just one occasion. From a technical portraits and group photos >to photos of people closest to young couple hearts.
I also look for unique scenes of nature that surrounds me. Visiting different picturesque places in UK and abroad I tend to bring my handmade souvenirs. On one of those occasions I asked my fiancé to marry me :) Oh yes, I did take the picture of our moment. Actually I took three. I imagine that in many years after, this memory will be as fresh as it is today. I hope this little story will help you decide, that what I do is what you are looking for.
