  ISO veterinary clinic: I'm new to the area; does anyone have any recommendations for a vet that takes walk-in visits? My cat is suddenly ill, and I need to take him to be seen before work at 11am tomorrow. I would rather not wait and make an appointment for later this week, so if anyone is aware of a vet who takes walk-ins on on a Monday morning, please let me know.

  I have used both of those...Urgent Care in Belmont saved my Mom's cat's life, they were awesome, but a little pricey (bc they do emergencies I guess)..but they don't open until 3 pm I think...Wilkinson's Dr Virgin did one of my cats when he had a high fever and I was angry at their bedside manner "well, do you want me to save him or not? for $600...) I would never go there again....I just started at Dickson Animal Clinic 704-824-9160 and I really really like Dr Hovis...I have taken 2 of my 3 cats there...nice people and it didn't break the bank...both kitties are healthy now..

I used to take him to pet stores that were familiar with birds and did bird grooming. He is very tame, not a mean bone in his body. He will not bite. I used to hold him during his trimmings.
