Looking for an endocrinologist for HRT or a professional that specializes in balancing hormones. I lost the war on fibroids and had a total hysterectomy that included the removal of my ovaries. Having to go through surgical menopause at 37 years old sucks so I want to make sure I'm doing what I can to avoid some of the risks of premature menopause the best I can. Thanks!

Also for hormones Dr. Jack Monaco with St. Thomas Medical Group 615-297-2700. He's a functional medical doctor and before he switched to this type of practice was a gynecologist. He's very caring and so is his wife who's his nurse. I also think Dani Williamson is a great provider.
I need info on cardiologists please. you guys seem to know about everything or know other people who do! please share the good, bad and the ugly. Private message me if you'd prefer.

Can anyone out there recommend a good MD general practitioner near St. Thomas West? It's time to get . . . a physical...

I've been to michaels choice, dr allen. He and the others in st Thomas medical group are great. You can call 297-2700 and ask if any GP takes new patients. I think mine (dr McDonald) does not.
Nashville fb community - I'm looking for a good family doctor (not a pediatrician, a general practitioner) - someone who actually takes the time to attempt to treat you rather than just immediately referring you to someone else. And go!

Mark Krakaur is awesome. He always spends ample amount of time with you covering all your questions and issues. He is in his mid 30's and is very up to date with medical trends etc. I have sent 3 friends to him and they all love him. He does do both pediatrics and general, but he is just my general practitioner. Also I always see him never a nurse practicioner (no offense to these nurses, but I would like to see my doctor). Here is a link to his group at St. Thomas and his creds/education. http://stmg-camg.org/index.cfm/fuseaction/site.physicians/action/dtl/phys/99841103.cfm
