  If the treatment from your regular vet is not solving or helping your cat think about taking your cat to Pittsburgh Veterinary Speciality Care center. They are located at 807 Camp Horne Road, Pgh, PA 15237. They have vets that specialize in various areas of animal care. Their phone is 412-366-3400. We used them for an allergy my dog was developing each year and they came up with several soloutions that seem to be working. I hope you find a solution!!

  Can anybody recommend a good veterinarian in the area? I'd left Dravosburg because of terrible service to go to Schrader who is awesome, when Dr. Steve is available. Lately he is never available because all he does is surgeries. The new guy they have Dr. Reines is horrible. He cant make a definitive decision and just seems flakey. We have been back 3 times in the past 2 weeks ($500 later) and still don't know whats wrong with Mick Jagger.

I am looking for feedback from anyone who has gone through this process with their four-legged family member, and for any recommendations of who to take him to for the procedure. Thanks!

  Our dog is blind (likely since birth or shortly there after) and has retina damage so not a candidate for cataract surgery but we see the opthamologist at PVSEC - http://www.pvs-ec.com/ I would highly recommend them. The decision needs to be based on your dogs age, ability to tolerate the surgery, quality of life with and without the surgery and of course the cost. Good luck

It says they are at 807 Camp Horne Road ,Pittsburgh and are open 24/7 including holidays . Says "dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and small mammals" so I think that would include rodents. # is 412-366-3400
