  I'm really trying not to take this statement personally I know you didn't mean it the way I'm reading it " I realize I'm moving from a very progressively minded (Portland, OR) pet community to a not so progressive area." Anyway, we aren't as backwards as you might think I feed raw and have for almost 10 years. Anyway, there is a boarding facility in NoDa -- www.k9 hangoutcharlotte.com one of the owners shows and has two ridgebacks -- she is also heavily involved in ridgeback rescue. She also feeds raw. The other owner has two pit bulls -- one is a service dog. You might check them out. Good luck with your move.
