  IU Health is the only option? Does anyone know of a physician nearby that does not work for IU health? I moved here recently and am trying to establish primary care, but have been told by several different IU Health locations that it will be at least 3 months before I can be seen. I need to see a gastroenterologist, and in order to see one I have to establish primary care with a physician and get a referral. Is this normal for Indiana? A 3 month wait time just to establish care?

  HealthNet recently replaced Volunteers in Medicine here in Bloomington and is taking new patients. I know it can meet primary care needs but they would probably referral to a specialist for the gastro stuff, which would likely be an IU Health provider. https://www.indyhealthnet.org/
