  My friends and I had it done at this place. It's in NYC. www.diamondvision.com. It should be $3 k ish or less. PRK is $2500 ish. Good luck. It's the best investment.

  I had LASIK surgery 8 years ago at Diamond Vision. The Garden City location. They were excellent. First they give you an amazing exam, the best I ever had. I had been wearing glasses since I was 7 years old. Eight years later, still no problems.

  http://diamondvision.com/ I had my lasik procedure at Diamond Vision four years ago. Since then, I know of five other friends/family members who have followed suit, one as recently as this year. Not one of us regrets this decision.

  Shop by doctor not by price. Also, you will probably want to take a cab home afterward, not ride the dirty ass train after getting eye surgery. I had a cousin go to Manhattan LASIK eye center and he was happy with the results. I went to Diamond Vision but did PRK instead of LASIK. I'm about 7 weeks post op and extremely satisfied.
