http://www.pacificvision.org/ I had Dr. Faktorivich do me after glowing recommendations from 5+ friends. I ended up not eligible for LASIK (not enough cornea) but had PRK instead and now see 20/15. Would definitely do it again. More expensive than bargain places, but you're asking someone to put a laser in your eye so....

Mike Carey had corneal transplants but had awesome results from his doctor.
Has anybody done Lasik..? Any recommendations...? I think I'm gonna do it....!! Starting to squint at Marquee... LOL
Kimmie K. replied:
My friends and I had it done at this place. It's in NYC. www.diamondvision.com. It should be $3 k ish or less. PRK is $2500 ish. Good luck. It's the best investment.

Timmy Chan is doing it this sat.

Recommendations for Lasik in Brooklyn? Hey all, as the title says I'm considering getting Lasik. I want a place that won't break the bank, but also isn't too cheap...

I had my procedure at Manhattan Lasik in midtown two weeks ago, and have zero regrets. A buddy of mine had been watching prices and deals, and pounced on a deal in December. No side effects so far! Good luck. [LINK](https://manhattanlasikcenter.com)

I went to Diamond Vision, about 5 years ago. Still got 20/10 from PRK

Lasik plus was awesome. Did it there a month ago. I had -2.25 in each eye, no astigmatism, and it was 3 k for everything (the 'older' procedure) including all follow ups.

FYI - I have very light eyes and I had lasik and it took much longer to recover than expected. It wasn't super painful recovery but my eyes were really itchy and I had headaches for about 2 weeks when looking at a screen [I work at a desk job so this was particularly difficult for me]. I also need to have the procedure redone because I still have a slight astigmatism so I'd suggest going somewhere that offers like a 3 year free touch up plan just in case. I don't regret getting it done per say but I do regret thinking that it would be a quick procedure and recovery. I wouldn't recommend my doctor as the front of office has been a frustrating shit show but wanted to share my experience!

I did Chelsea Eye Associates 4 years ago and still have perfect 15/20 vision and they were so nice! Edit: seems my doctor opened his own practice. https://www.chelseaeyeophthalmology.com/ . I believe it was 4 k

Does anyone have a good recommendation for getting LASIK surgery in either NYC or Chicago?
