I've always been super picky about my food - always eating organic, always avoiding GMO's, and avoiding processed food. All of this to make sure I was avoiding carcinogens and helping my body to be the healthiest it could be, but never gave a second thought to my skincare. What we forget is our body is our biggest organ, it absorbs everything it's exposed to. So all of that clean eating we're doing is totally negated when we put parabens, phthalates etc. and other nasty chemicals found in everyday beauty products, onto our skin.
