  I just recently started taking my dog to [Mt. Pleasant Veterinary Clinic](http://www.mtpleasantvet.com/) in Chesapeake. Super friendly staff, really impressed with them so far. A couple years ago I boarded my dog for over a week at [Holly Ridge Manor](http://www.hollyridgemanor.net/) in Pungo (where I also adopted him from) and they are great! Did not do the "Motel" boarding though.
