  Does anyone have recommendations for a place in the Columbia/Clarksville/Ellicott City/Laurel area that does private swim lessons for a 3 year old? I don't belong to the Columbia Association gyms/pools. Preferably something without ridiculous monthly membership fees on top of the cost of lessons. I'm hoping for a Saturday or Sunday morning time frame. Thanks!

  Alrighty-need howard county help..I need like a hoco mentor! maybe Jill Lasheski, or anyone else who can help-I know you know this area pretty well! I don't know where ANYTHING is- we are right off 216 before 95 close to maple lawn. I need recommendations- a (grown up) gym-hopefully a Y closer than Veterans, kindermusik classes, closest mcdonalds with a play park, a chinese buffet, a starbucks, a discount grocery store, a preschoool co-op, and a good sledding hill(with any luck, for next year), a good kids consignment store, a competitive and not so expensive gymnastics training center.. and for the love--where the heck is there a taco bell??

  Kids Consignment- Greenberries off Snowden River Pkwy (Adult consignment is in Cherry Tree Shopping Center near Hunan House...best Chinese around IMO) Grocery- Food Lion off 216 and 29 or Wise in Laurel off 216 Gym- Lifetime fitness is better than Columbia Association; but for an inexpensive gym I used to go to Planet Fitness off RT40 Taco Bell- off Snowden River Pkwy (also a Pizza Hut and Burger King in there)

  Sweet! Also, Patrick may get a Columbia Association discount for working for HCPSS so if you go that route for gyms, be sure to have him see what kind of deal he can get.

  can you guys join the Columbia Association? Or just join the supreme sports club (also CA), or lifetime fitness (not CA) over by Dobbin; the starbucks at Dobbin is 24 hours :-D; there's another starbucks over by the bowling alley off of broken land; there's a food lion at 216 and 29--there's also a Zips over there in the cherry hill shopping center! gymnastics centers: top flight, columbia gymnastics, emilia acrobatics, allpro gymnastics & cheer, and fairland gymnastics (they're in laurel and associated with PG county, but they're super)
