A public page to share enclosed dog walking areas in the UK.
We list the locations of privately owned fields/paddocks which are for hire by the hour, individually, or as a group. Public parks with enclosed dog play areas ("dog parks") social dog playgroups, indoor dog training barns and daycare centres with facilities to hire, equestrian arenas for hire for dog exercise, paddocks with agility equipment and will consider anything else, as long as we have the owner's permission to share it's location!
If it's a fenced area, for dogs to run off lead, it can be included.
See our website for our searchable map of fields and spaces.
To add your facility, please email us at dogwalkingfields@gmail.com, or send a PM through the page.
I am looking for a secure area to walk my over anxious dog. He really doesn't get on with other dogs but we would love somewhere to let him off the lead for a good run. I think I read about somewhere local that you can hire but can't find it now. Any help greatly appreciated
Thank you.
Hello everyone, just after some suggestions...we've recently got a whippet X saluki puppy and it's advised that you walk this type of dog (sight hound) in a secure fenced off area as they are likely to chase things. There needs to be enough space for them to run flat out though. Does anyone know of anywhere in the Stroud area? (Can drive and willing to travel though) or anyone with a sight hound, where do you walk them? Thanks
Hi all, apologies as not directly agility related.. but relating to my agility dog lol.. We live in Jersey and are coming over to visit a friend next week who lives in the aisle of Purbeck in the U.K. The trouble is that one of our dogs is an ex hunting dog and even with a lot of recall training still can't be trusted off the lead in new places. Just wondering if anyone might know an enclosed field that we could hire in the area for half an hour or an hour a day so that Hero can have a good run? Thanks in advance for any ideas xx
Can anyone offer any advice or recommend a gundog trainer in the midlands who can deal with a pointer with a strong chase instinct for birds? Following today's utter catastrophe on the beach which involved sprinting, screeching and the dog shooting off kilometres down the shoreline chasing seabirds and ignoring all requests to return we need assistance. I genuinely thought we were not going to get him back this time, it took over half an hour to catch him and nothing we have tried is cracking his chase instinct. Any suggestions you can make would be greatly appreciated as we can't let him off lead at all now unless it is totally enclosed and secure. I'm all out of ideas...

Hi, is there anywhere fairly local where I could take my dog that is fully enclosed so I could let her off the lead? I thought I read previously about an enclosed field that could be hired for a certain amount of time? TIA.
Looking for a secure field or place I can bring my dog to willing pay. She is unable to socialise with other dogs so needs to be only one there any recommendations?
We have people on here from all four corners of the UK. If you know of places where you can hire space to let your dog run, please post them here to share with everybody else

There's a Facebook group which provides a directory and where people can let others know of they are aware of any: https://m.facebook.com/dogwalkingfields/
Does anyone know of a local (to Lower Earley) secure enclosed area where I can let my puppy off lead? I am still a bit nervous about letting her off in local parks and fields. Thanks in advance

Hi All
In Need of your help please.
Does anyone know of any enclosed dog parks locally??
Sarah A. replied:
This page keeps a list, mostly places for private hire. Nothing hugely local but might be worth it while you get him/her trained. I take mine to Woofington Woods near Guildford every couple of weeks and they love it. https://www.facebook.com/dogwalkingfields/
Does anyone know of any local enclosed dog parks nearby. I have a rescue dog that I would like to be able to let off the lead but need somewhere that is contained initially! Thanks
