  Treehouse Bakery made an awesome vegan red velvet cake for my wife's birthday earlier this year. They're on FB and at the Phoenix downtown market every other week. Highly recommended.

  TREEHOUSE BAKERY!!!! They don't have an actual store, but they are at the farmers market every other week and they do special orders. They are by far THE BEST cake I have EVER had!!! they have a lot of different flavors, mine is the red velvet. Look them up they are wonderful!!!!

  Sometimes Whole Foods says their foods are vegan when it really isn't. One time I was going to order some kind of kale/fruit salad that was labeled as vegan, it had some kind of cheese on it, when I asked the lady behind the counter if it was vegan she said "Yes its vegan, theres no meat in it" I then had to explain to her that vegans don't eat cheese or any kind of dairy. The cheese was regular cheese, not any kind of vegan cheese. This has happened a few times, so its hard to buy anything that whole foods makes that is labeled as vegan. Just be careful. Also treehouse bakery is going to be at the phoenix public market this weekend if you wanted to stop by and sample some of their flavors they have...
