About us
When we were kids living in Canada, our families spent their summers lovingly preserving the freshest organic vegetables and fruits so we could have healthy natural foods over the long winters. We had jars of pickles, soups, jams, sauces and other homemade delights in our cellars.
Scientifically and medically proven, the health benefits of eating naturally produced foods are well documented. Rich in probiotics, nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, natural foods play an essential role in promoting a healthy gut. Gut bacteria are responsible for 90% of our entire body's health, including our mental health. Keeping our gut bacteria healthy is paramount to our longevity, and it's of the utmost importance to Our Organic Culture when we prepare our recipes.
Our Organic Culture was founded in Bali, but its original vision was realised in Toronto, Canada. After 2 years of collaboration and planning, we started seeding, farming, and producing organic cucumbers to make Indonesia's best certified organic dill pickles..
With its nutrient-rich volcanic soil, Bali has set the perfect backdrop for the production of our premium organic pickles. We plant and grow our own organic vegetables using age-old Balinese farming techniques on Balinese-owned cooperative farms in the mountainous regions of this fertile island. As soon as the vegetables are harvested, they are immediately washed with filtered water, and carefully produced to make our delicious foods.
By cultivating our own non-GMO seeds and organically farming our own vegetables, we ensure that 100% organic vegetables are used in our products - just as Mother Nature intended.
At Our Organic Culture, we love that our entire seed-to-table production process enlists the help of local farmers and producers helping the local economy and reducing the time it takes to bring farm fresh products to our consumers.
