  This is really tough to post after living in Downtown JC for just about 12 years (most of that in Harsimus Cove) and getting to know so many wonderful friends and neighbors over that time, but here goes... Cheryl and I are soon moving to a new apartment in Jersey City Heights. I'm posting here to ask our friends and neighbors in this group for RECOMMENDATIONS on good local movers (and also, perhaps, places to avoid...) Fortunately, this isn't entirely goodbye. We're staying in JC, and I'll still be co-working in the neighborhood (Indiegrove). So, I hope to still see many of your around while I'm downtown. But Cheryl and I also know it won't be quite the same. Living here has always meant something very special to us and we are leaving a piece of our hearts behind. To paraphrase a friend of mine, Harsimus Cove is the BEST cove. We are going to miss calling it home. Thanks for your recommendations, and your neighborliness and friendship over the years.   We had a really great experience with Morrissey. The woman who answers the phone is annoying but the movers were great and attentive to fragile things and furniture and reasonably priced -- (973) 841-1677
