I'm very set on wanting a moissanite ring over diamond ring for a few reasons, but I'm having difficulty finding someone who works with moissanite in the KC area. We have a ring design in mind but are thinking about customizing it. I'd prefer a small, local company over buying online if possible.   [Meierotto Jewelers](https://www.mjewelry.com/) at I35 and Armour. They can customize the ring because you can do the center stone and the band separately which they then combine. If you ask, they can do moissanite as the primary stone. They're excellent to work with and have items in various budget ranges too.

  I'd also try going to Meierotto Jewelry and asking them what they think! I went in there thinking I'd need an expensive repair and they were able to help me find an alternative to fix one of my favorite pairs of earrings. Its not often someone in a jewelry store talks you into spending less than you intended, so I've come to trust them with a variety of things like this. Depending on what the necklace chain is made of, you also may be able to buy a new chain for less than repairing the existing one since it is broken in multiple places. Ms. Fisher helped us find the perfect engagement ring and she even talked to us about the diamond we picked and showed us the imperfections that make it unique. She showed me how to recognize my diamond and even helped us save a little money. They were great and worked with us to find the perfect ring.
