Can anyone (highly) recommend their orthopedist?? Thanks in advance.

https://www.orthovirginia.com/ - I highly recommend these doctors. I don't know if they still are but they used to be the official orthopedics to the Redskins.
Knee doctor/orthopedist/etc recommendation Hi all,
I've been fighting some pain with my knee recently, and want to get a 2nd opinion from a trusted doc in the area.
Anyone have a recommendation? (particularly if they are in the Aetna network?).
I'm waiting for MRI results, but was not happy with the initial consultation I had with the doc I picked. Really short and rude.

Pretty much everyone I know who plays (adult) sports in the area goes to someone that's part of OrthoVirginia. https://www.orthovirginia.com
Does anyone in the group know of a good orthopedic/sports medicine doctor in DC/Northern Virginia that does shoulders?

I severely sprained my AC joint playing soccer a couple of years ago and in a separate skiing accident chipped my humerus near the shoulder. These guys saw me both times. Both times they deemed the injuries moderate and recomended PT over surgery. Great folks. http://www.orthovirginia.com/
Has anyone ever had physical therapy after surgery to correct a labral tear? Hi, folks! You may remember me from such reddit posts as "has anyone ever had a hip arthroscopy for a labral tear." Or you may not, and that is also fine.
Anyway, I found a surgeon and it only took like four months! I had my surgery in February and I'm ready to start physical therapy. Unfortunately my surgeon (and the therapist he recommends) is all the way out in Woodbridge, and I live in Fairfax, and I can't drive yet, so making someone drive me all the way out there 2-3 times a week is not practical.
Anyway, I know there are like a trillion physical therapists near me, but I'd really like to see someone who has experience with this kind of surgery, and that information is not readily googlable. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

[OrthoVirginia](https://www.orthovirginia.com/) has offices in Fairfax and Fairoaks. I tore the labrum in my right shoulder and they repaired and then I did Pt with them. They were fantastic. I have full range of motion back and full strength back in my right shoulder. I just recently partially tore my left rotater cuff and go back on the 29 th for a follow up and possible MRI to see how bad and if surgery is needed. PT will follow of course.
I am looking to go to another doctor for a second opinion on my knee. Can anyone recommend an Orthopedic doctor that specializes in knees and sports related injury in Northern Va?

This guy is awesome and he specializes in sports-related injuries (he is a marathoner) - http://www.c-o-r.com/phys_kittredge.asp
any orthopedist (specifically pediatric) recommendations in the area? thanks.

Well hello there Ms Pappu - Juju saw Dr. Ben Kittredge for a skating injury last year - later found out he's the ortho for a number of our mini-jock friends...Hope Lee is well soon. http://www.c-o-r.com/phys_kittredge.asp
You need to go to an Orthopedist first. They will then refer you to a Physical Therapist, if needed. I go to Dr. Parker, c-o-r.com. He is one of the trainers for the Redskins. He did my foot surgery in 2007, casted me after breaking my wrist in 2006 and his PA just evaluated my hip issue last week. Good Luck!
