  [Help] anti-cancer diet? I'm taking on a puppy who has a head tilt, which may indicate a brain tumor. She is otherwise bright and happy. I know her chances of living long aren't great, and that she may have very little time indeed. But I'm looking for recommendations on what to feed her to hopefully improve her chances. I've come across CBD oil and turmeric as having evidence-based tumor-shrinking properties. If you have used those, how did you determine the dosage? (I asked my vet about CBD oil dosage previously for my cat, but he wasn't particularly helpful and said to just go with the CBD oil company's recommendation.) Just wondering whether there's anything else anyone would recommend? I can't afford to feed her raw right now, but have a high quality kibble (Fromm's) on order, along with high quality wet food (Weruva) as a topper. I've read it can be beneficial to give them cooked or raw eggs as well as broccoli, which I'm open to doing.

  Cancer feeds on sugar and carbs so typically it would be recommended to feed low carb/ low sugar. Stick with mainly canned food if you can afford it, although it ends up being almost as expensive as raw. Homecooked is an option as well, especially if it is absolutely true you're dealing with a brain tumor (not especially true if you're looking long term, it's hard to balance a home cooked diet without help from a nutritionist- if that's the case look at balanceit.com)

Organs that are uncommon for humans to eat are particularly hard for me to find a good source for!   If home cooking food for your dogs, just be careful it is balanced for them. I have heard BalanceIt.com is a good resource.
