  [K-9 Coach](https://www.k-9 coach.com/) is awesome but you have to be a member for boarding :( It may not work for your upcoming trip but if you're looking for somewhere to use on an ongoing basis, I highly recommend.

I'm very protective over my 7 year old Cocker Spaniel, so I'm admittedly a little nervous about picking a new groomer. Any help would be very appreciated!

  K9 Coach http://www.k-9 coach.com/ is one of the highest rated full service kennel, trainer and groomers in Atlanta. It's on Marietta on the west end and may technically not be in ATL although it is within the perimeter. I've been using them for 3 years and they are wonderful people. The best part is because they are a kennel and do day care you can drop the pup off in the AM go to work and pick up a clean, happy, beautifully groomed pup on the way home.

  Does anyone know of a dog behaviorist/trainer either in Metro Atlanta or the Macon area that would be willing to donate their time to work with a dog that has been a victim of domestic violence? It would be ideal if he could stay with the trainer at their home or facility. This would be fairly short term. Baby is a medium sized 9 month old male puppy. He needs help with socialization and overcoming fear issues due to the abuse he suffered at the hands of the family's abuser.
