My boyfriend and I took her to the VCA to get blood work done, I know the VCA gets very expensive and it's looking like she will need to be on epilepsy medication.   Anyone know of any vets that offer sliding scale fees for services on the west side or south valley? I'm between jobs and my dog needs to be seen. I made an appt at good shepherd but looking for something closer. Regular vet is beyond my abilities ATM & i cannot use Carecredit.

  Is it an emergency? If not, and you can wait until Monday, call Animal Humane then. They are not open Friday thru Sunday. They serve low income clients - it is their prime calling, but you do have to prove your income status. Go to their web site at AnimalHumaneNM.org (or click on the logo below) where you can read about their client services, how to contact them, what to take to prove income, etc. They are excellent vets and your dog will be well cared for. Their fees are considerably lower than regular vets'.
