About us
Established in 1990, Royal India is the oldest Indian restaurant in Raleigh, NC. When we opened our door in Raleigh, we soon became a popular eatery for many South Asians (natives of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh & neighboring countries) who craved food from their homeland. Overtime, our authentic and delicious Indian cuisine became hugely popular in the broader segment of population. We have won multiple awards and very positive reviews from local media for being one of the best Indian restaurants in the Triangle Area.
In order to offer an authentic Indian cuisine, Royal India prepares food in real charcoal clay oven, an essential requirement for quality food preparation in many parts of South Asia. This form of cooking prepares crisp naan bread, tasty grilled vegetables, succulent tandoori chicken and kabobs with delectable taste, aroma and texture.
Royal India has hosted numerous community and business parties. We offer free WI-Fi service, big screen with projector and professional sound amplification. We offer wide selection of wines, beer and liquor. We also provide equipment for DJ parties, if needed. Above all, the biggest attraction to Royal India is the mouth-watering cuisine. Some of the menu items include seafood; chicken, lamb and goat dishes; a variety of vegetarian dishes; rice-based delicacy biryani; and mouth-watering desserts. Royal India also offers Tandoori specialties and the finest Indian breads.
Our chef's skill in preparing delicious Indian cuisine has won us clients throughout North Carolina, and even in neighboring states of South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. We offer catering services for up to one thousand people in all these states.
