  Hi LWL! We adopted a 1.5 year old rescued Maltese in August 2015, and I am looking for the best place to board her, or have someone come in and care for her. She is our 7 lb bundle of love, very affectionate and loves to be with people and cuddle - I can't really picture her at a kennel....maybe I am totally wrong but the image I have of dog boarding kennels is a bunch of dogs barking non-stop and doing their business "indoors" -- habits I really don't want our dog picking up on. Can anyone help recommend a place where she would be with people, or a service where someone comes in for a good part of the day or stays with the dog? Thank you.

  Happy Friday, Ladies! I know I saw a similar thread lately, but can`t find it for the life of me. I need someone to house/dog sit for a few days during the holidays. Ideally, I don`t want to kennel my dog but some visits, feeding & cuddles would be great. Anyone offer/know of a service that would be available from the evening of the 24th until midday on the 26th? He`s not great with other dogs, so would have to be a `come to me`kind of situation. We are in Orleans. Doesn`t have to be a professional. She's an 11 year old Havanese pup who hates to be alone/away from her familiar surroundings. They are looking for someone to come over maybe two or three times (between 3:00pm and 1:00am) to let her out, feed her and give her some love. They're located in Kanata North. It's hard to find someone that you can trust with your house/pet. Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
