  Dear fantastic IC neighbors, I desperately need your help. Next week, the city will be flooded w/ psychiatrists from all across the country for a conference. Despite the fact I've been here only 10 mos, w/o a car, the NYC docs are convinced I am the expert on all things New Orleans. Please, please help me look like a rockstar by giving me great recommendations! (Keep in mind these are fancy psychiatrists from NYC so their standards are somewhat higher than mine, which is at Pothole Party level.. :) They will be staying at the Hilton Riverside, but not limited to that area. I need the following: 1-2 suggestions for quirky (uniquely NOLA-type?) night life hangouts (bars,jazz, or whatev). 1-2 things more than what's on typical tourist itinerary. *MOST importantly tho, 2-4 "hidden" gem restaurants!!* (Need 1 lunch place near hotel, all others can be uptown, Garden D., IC, wherev) Any help is MUCH appreciated!!!
