Looking for a good bakery? I am in search for a good bakery in Fort Wayne-- one that specializes in breads like rustic loaves, sourdough, baguettes and rolls. I'm not particularly interested in pastries such as (cup)cakes, doughnuts, and desserts.
I'm struggling to find one besides Kroger bakery and Panera bread; I want to support a local business but just haven't found one, yet!

George's International on Broadway has a fantastic, very reasonably priced bakery. They have a LOT of sweets, but they do baguettes and the like as well. From what I can recall, the regular breads are on a display on the left pretty much immediately when you walk in. Just about the rest of the store is entirely sweets. I will second the Big Brick House bakery. They appear at a number of the Fort Wayne Farmer's Markets as well. From my understanding, they grind their own wheat for their flour. I follow them on Facebook to find out where they'll be: https://www.facebook.com/bigbrickhousebakery
