The Rent Guru believes that everyone should live in an awesome spot in Seattle and skip over the annoying craigslists ads, potential rent scammers, and greedy land lords. No one knows more about landlords, various apartment buildings, how to get into a fab home when you are competing with other renters, or generally the best hot spots in town for art. Roy the Rent Guru is very adept at getting the job done for many Seattle peeps. In Roy’s past he managed an apartment building in the U District. More recently, he is the super sleuth of good rental deals. In Roy's free time he is one of Seattle's up and coming next generation of contemporary artists with shows all over the city. Check out his site Screen Door Press and Roy Powell Art. For fun Roy sees a lot of local bands, drinks good beer, and knows a mean Old Fashion cocktail when he sees it.
