Recommendations for a Suppressor Transfer in Northwestern Michigan? I’m in the market for my first suppressor (if I can find a KAC QDC in 5.56 anywhere). But don’t really know where I’d go about getting it shipped to thats around my area, for it doesn’t seem like there are any places that even sell suppressors around Grand Traverse County. I’d totally be willing to go a reasonable distance but am uncertain as to where. I’d much appreciate any advice or recommendations from those of you that have purchased suppressors up here!
I’m trying to learn what there is about getting a suppressor but I’m still pretty ignorant in some aspects, so please educate me (if you care too) if you can tell that I’m misunderstanding something.
Thanks!

Even though they dont have the can you're looking for, I'd look into purchasing thru [silencershop.com](https://silencershop.com). They make the process very easy and they have kiosks in participating businesses that make the whole fingerprint/photo process very streamlined. Great support thru them and extremely simple.
Silencershop/NFA Transfer Rates in PDX area? My local shop (Rich's Gun Shop in Donald), God bless them, does have a silencershop kiosk but charges a $200 NFA Transfer and storage fee. I was curious to know if anyone had any personal experience with a shop in the PDX area that perhaps has a lower fee? I get the NFA Transfer fee comes with the territory, but between that and the stamp my $1000 suppressor is turning into a $1400 one.

Just make the drive to a kiosk. You will only have to do it once unless you screw up your fingerprinting, everything else you do on the app. No transfer fees to a kiosk shop. The next time you make the drive there it will be to pick up your suppressor. If it costs more in gas then maybe I wouldnt, besides that silencershop.com has made it pretty streamlined to buy from and made my life a hell of a lot easier by doing everything.
Looking to start an NFA Trust in MD. Lawyer recommendations? Gotchas? Right now my plan is to start with a 45 can for a P220, and later re-use it on a 300 blackout SBR.
Just wondering if you guys had any recommendations, or things to look out for.

[Silencer Shop](http://www.silencershop.com/shop/nfa-gun-trust/) will help you set up your trust. Probably much cheaper then most lawyers - oh, and they sell silencers too ;)
