  Reading your budget below I'd highly recommend [Himali Gurkha](http://www.himaligurkha.com/tablet/index.html) in Applecross. Been a few years since I've been (I'm not in Perth), but the meals are cheap and beautiful. BYO wine ($2 ea corkage), 2-3 cheap dishes, some rice/puri. Easily under $80, probably under $60 if you stick to veggie dishes. It's also really small and intimate so great for dates.
