  We are moving to Macleay in another week or so. Does anyone know about how to get a mooring in the channel along Western Rd? Preferably just south of that long pier. Another question, we have a car with low clearance, when is the best tide to move it across from the mainland? Well might as well keep asking questions here. We will need carpet cleaners and also any suggestions re a painter having a cathedral ceiling painted?

  As for moorings, they are not easy to get, maybe contact the boat club as someone might want to sell a mooring. Also www.macleayisland.net has good info and contact details for businesses.
