  My boys go to pediatrics northwest and we love it and love their Dr. Dr Kregenow. But she is in gig harbor. I've heard great things about the Dr's clinic in port orchard too though.

  Does anyone know of a really good local pediatrician? We see a dr at peninsula and he seems to think that my son has a developmental disability because he couldn't say exactly five words by the time he was 1 and because he isn't fully potty trained yet now. He's 3. He just turned 3. He said that if he isn't fully potty trained within 30 days from now than he must have a disability. You know this may be my only child and I have no friends with children so I don't exactly have a ton of advice or experience but I do know that not every child develops at the same pace. When his dr recommend he get an "standardized assessment" I went ahead with that and he tested above average. There is nothing wrong with my son but I'm sick and tired of being told that there is just because he doesn't want to stand still on a scale and he won't say all of his body parts on command for a nurse he doesn't even know. So we're looking to switch doctors. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a sensible good pediatrician who won't just look at my son as another statistic.

  Pediatric Allergist Recommendation? Vashon Health Center only has one they refer to, in Burien. Would love to find a good one in Tacoma, if possible. Thanks for any leads! We're dealing with environmental allergies for sure, guessing dietary sensitivities too.

  Northwest Pediatric Allergy in Tacoma. Right next to Mary Bridge Hospital. My daughter sees Doctor Larson. He is absolutely wonderful and great with kids! The nurses are very kind and gentle as well. (253) 383-5777.

  Pediatrics Northwest, Dr. Oltman, 253-383-5777, it's linked to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and Health Center. I recommend every mom there! The offices are in the Baker Center off MLK Jr and Division, right over there by Wright Park.
