  My boyfriend and I went in October 2016 and rented a bed and breakfast from Canal View Bed and Breakfast. I can't recommend it enough! So Airbnb's, or at least private ones in Amsterdam are illegal, so this ended up being the only B&B we could find that wasn't booked full.
